Our History
Redefining Pipe Repair Technology
Merit Technologies Sdn Bhd (MTSB) is an Oil & Gas Service company based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. It was incorporated on 10th June 2004. Its original business focus is to design, manufacture and install Epoxy Metal Clamps for the repair and maintenance of pipes, risers and conductors. It also supplies fibre reinforced polymer for various applications such as insulation protection, pipe supports, pre-insulated pipes and tank linings. It is from this background that MTSB in 2008 conceptualized and designed the Helicoid Epoxy Sleeve for the repair and maintenance of Risers and Conductors, specifically for the Splash Zones located at off-shore platforms. In 2013, Helicoid Epoxy Sleeve was successfully installed at an offshore platform in Thailand and number of Helicoid Epoxy Sleeve installed is still growing worldwide.
